Benjamin Knoebl is an Austrian filmmaker based in Los Angeles. Melancholy, strong female characters and story twists are elements that weave through all of Benjamin’s work. Their passions take his characters to difficult and often dark places where they will find their truth.

 

Benjamin's work has screened and won awards at film festivals all over the globe. His latest project is the short film Red Lilies, a psychological thriller that's currently on the festival circuit. Besides making short films, Benjamin directs music videos, he's the co-creator and producer of a new thriller TV show, and he is in the process of writing a horror feature based on a medieval Austrian folk tale.

 

Proudly claiming the letter G in LGBT, Benjamin is an advocate for integrating the LGBT and immigrant communities.
